Tony Falco, PhD, FCCPM

Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Tony Falco is a medical physicist, a McGill University Faculty of Medicine affiliated member and a Fellow of the Canadian College of Physicists in Medicine. At Resonant, Tony drives scientific development and product management, ensuring a full commitment to relevant clinical research and product development. With numerous publications and practical clinical experience, Tony combines key technical and scientific knowledge with insight into the day-today needs of the physicians and technicians working in a radiotherapy setting.

Michèle Jémus, CA, MSc

Chief Financial Officer

Prior to joining Resonant, Michèle Jémus worked at Biorthex and Intellivax Inc., where she was responsible for all corporate financial aspects of these companies. She also held a director position with KPMG Corporate Finance where she assisted companies in their M&A and due diligence activities. Michèle is a Chartered Accountant and holds an MSc in Finance from the University of Sherbrooke. With her well-rounded knowledge of finance, accounting and operations, Michèle implements financial strategies, financing corporate policies and procedures to move Resonant forward.

Stephen Whisenhunt, MS, MBA

Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing

Stephen Whisenhunt brings more than 18 years of radiation oncology industry experience to the company. Prior to joining Resonant Medical, he served as Vice President of International Sales at Xoft, Inc., as well as Vice President of Computed Tomography at Phillips Medical. Prior to that, he held the position of Vice President and General Manager of Oncology Business at Picker Medical Systems and spent four years as the Director of Oncology Marketing for GE Medical Systems. Stephen is a member of The New York Academy of Sciences and holds degrees from LaSalle University and Frederick Taylor University. He brings sales execution excellence and global strategic vision to the Resonant Sales team.

Martin Lachaine, PhD, DABR

Director of Research

Martin Lachaine holds a PhD in Physics from McGill University and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Radiology. Prior to joining Resonant, he worked as a medical physicist in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Arizona. His research interests lie in developing and applying imaging techniques for radiotherapy. He is the recipient of two major medical physics awards, the Sylvia Fedoruk Award and the PTW Award for Excellence. He brings a unique combination of theoretical and clinical experience, which he uses to foster short and long term research goals.

Rui Castro Lopes, MBA

Director of Sales Operations and Support

Rui Lopes brings a background in system design project management and customer support. He gained optimal experience in such notable companies as IBM, Bombardier, CAE and Ericsson, where he acted as product, project and line manager. He successfully implemented several global initiatives and oversaw global communications projects. He has international trade knowledge, coupled with a scientific background, holding a BSc in Physics and graduating with honours. At Resonant, Rui heads up support installation, in addition to his main role of setting up the company's infrastructure and new processes. At Resonant, Rui manages the sales team operations and support strategy.
