Since this measurement is achieved along the actual electron dose beam trajectory, it enables an optimal decision for electron energy based on the 3D U/S cavity and other U/S landmarks such as chest wall.
PBI
Clarity Breast System provides non-invasive, non-ionizing IGRT for daily position verification of 3D conformal treatments with greater accuracy while addressing patient throughput.
External Beam PBI Guidance Positioning
The therapist has the benefit of confirming the alignment visually by means of a 3D rendering, graphical display and numerical readout of the targeted area. The MLC shape in the Beam’s Eye View provides an added degree of confidence and permits fine adjustment of the cavity position to ensure adequate dose coverage.
