Historically, pre-treatment IGRT has proven to be time-prohibitive in a busy cancer center. Many centers resorted to retrospective correction for the previous day's treatment. Clarity offers a high-throughput IGRT solution in four steps that can provide pre-treatment correction within the normal treatment time allotment.

Upgradeability

The platform design of the Clarity system makes it easy and cost-effective to upgrade to future applications as they become available. Each Acquisition Station can simultaneously support up to three 3D ultrasound probes and multiple site-specific applications.

Expandability

The Clarity platform can support numerous clients, which allows for Acquisition Stations in multiple treatment rooms and for image review at several workstations in physicians' offices.

Throughput

The Clarity system is designed to optimize throughput and minimize down-time, ensuring maximum utilization of both accelerator and radiation therapist resources. Experience has demonstrated that with the Clarity system, a trained radiation therapist can achieve reproducible results within 90 seconds in the treatment room.
