RESTITU U/S-GUIDE™ in the treatment room

Resonant Medical's RESTITU™ is a 3D ultrasound (U/S) image-guidance platform for radiotherapy. The system is ceiling-mounted in both the radiation therapy planning and treatment delivery rooms. Prior to each treatment session, 3D U/S data is acquired and compared to the original 3D U/S acquired in the CT-Sim room, in order to quantify changes in organ position and morphology. This unique intramodality comparison capability, called Mutual ReferencingTM, is central to RESTITUTM's high accuracy and fidelity.

Resonant Medical's RESTITU™ workstation software provides physicians with a powerful tool for visualizing and analyzing full volumetric information about the size, shape and position of ultrasound-scanned organs. The data thus obtained is persistent, which permits time-series analysis (i.e. graphs that illustrate changes in organ volume during a specific treatment session) and cine-view (i.e. 3D animation tracking of organ movement).
